Olde/New <~> New/Olde: Happy first Full Moon of the year ! This moon is also a Wolf Moon { named for the howling of the wolves this time of year here in North America} as well as a partial lunar eclipse, a penumbral lunar eclipse to be exact; only the outer shadow of earth darkened the moon this morning. In celebration, we’ll be launching a series of updated olde olde pieces { almost 10 years now! } in our standard gemstone options { Onyx, Moonstone, Labradorite } & also in limited quantities on a few designs in Amethyst, Garnet & Opal next *Friday, January 17th at 3pm EST US* in our little corner of the 🕸. • As for myself, while on a long drive just now through nearly total dark flatlands, I listened to CA Conrad’s first episode of their new podcast ‘Occult Poetry Radio’ with poet Hoa Nguyen { @hn2626 }. In it they discussed { among other topics } the tarot as a entity matrix, the pen as the Magician’s lightning rod, and plant communication – which, in a bit of synchronicity, I’ve been learning about through courses via @persephonespath { you can as well! Her classes are happening now }. • I first encountered CA Conrad when I was new to Philly as a teenager who wanted to be a poet, they worked at Barnes & Nobles in Rittenhouse Square. I remember always hoping would be at their checkout line, but was always too shy to speak when I was. I love all that they are creating with their Soma/tic poetry rituals & writings & will continue this full moon by reading their poems. It feels the only thing that is calming at all lately for me is reading. Best wishes to you all this evening in your ceremony if you follow the moon path🖤 PS: either an owl or a juvenile eagle flew low and quick in front of my car on this drive, its huge wing a white flame in my lights before disappearing in the dark farmlands beside the road. Magic abounds.

An eclipse { plural for moths, swoon } of our current winged offerings, made immortal in sterling silver & finished to achieve beautiful shades of gloomy af gray. These tender companions are currently part of our permanent moth collection, joined by a life cast Sphinx moth cocoon; each can be found in our little corner of the 🕸. • So many thanks to those of you who have made a home for one of the special edition jeweled moths last week. We are overwhelmed by the response and @jenvonhaunt & I are thinking on their future selves. I really like to keep some things extra special and in small editions but I also don’t like the feeling of people missing out, so next year we may release a different shaped jewel version or perhaps just all-together new moths, as I can’t keep them out of my dreams { a new one is unfurling under my hands & sharp tools these long nights }… • There are so many things both myself & the studio team are working on in tandem { new designs for me, production and all around dedication & loveliness from them } for the end of this year and into 2020/beyond. I’ve being feeling at my most creatively fertile ever, despite the shadow feels I’m working through. Part of this work for me includes gratitude – more than my words can say via this glowing portal – I am so thankful you are here, reading this, following along with my joy and my melancholy, my collected carousels, my feelings of wonder { & horror } at being alive. I am especially so grateful for my studio team, & the opportunity they, and you, give me to continue building my own little cocoon world through these personal symbols and images. 🖤 👁 🖤
