Growing up in the middle of the woods, I didn’t really get the fuss of having a bunch of house plants. Then I moved to NYC and after a few months, I realized that I needed to feel connected to nature in some shape or form. And because I, like many, don’t have a backyard and my apartment is far too small to hold a garden, house plants filled the void. Although I, unfortunately have a black thumb, I still appreciate plants and the many benefits they bring to a space. And for the plant’s safety, it’s best for someone like me to contain my love for nature in the confines of social media.
