Is it just me, or is everyone having babies in 2020? From my friends to the people I follow on social media to A-list celebrities, it feels like everyone decided to put a bun in the oven this year. And good on these ladies and their partners, having a child is a very exciting step to take. Rapper Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity to announce her pregnancy on social media and did so with a glamorous photoshoot that brings me back to the Nicki first fell in love with 10 years ago. In honor of Nicki’s announcement, we’ve gathered together 10 of the most legendary, memorable and unique celebrity pregnancy announcements. These famous mamas went all out (or kept it ultra simple) when revealing to the world they were expected and we were stunned every time.
Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj shocked the world when she revealed her baby bump to social media on July 20th. Minaj is currently expected her first child with husband Kenneth Petty.
Cardi B
Cardi B chose to announce her pregnancy with Kulture on “Saturday Night Live,” with the camera slowly panning down to her bump during her performance on “Be Careful.” Cardi B gave birth to her first child in July of 2018.
Beyoncé
Beyoncé had not one, BUT TWO, legendary pregnancy announcements. Her first came during the 2011 MTV VMA Awards, showing off a small bump after her performance of “Love on Top.” Beyoncé gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, on January 7th, 2012.

Katy Perry is always one for theatrics and showed off her baby bump at the tail end of her music video for her single “Never Worn White.” Katy Perry is currently expecting her first child with actor Orlando Bloom.

After much speculation, model Gigi Hadid revealed that she was expected her first child with musician Zayn Malik on “The Tonight Show.”

Khloe Kardashian struggled to get pregnant for years and fans were elated when she showed off a baby bump with then partner Tristan Thompson. Kardashian gave birth to her first child True on April 12th, 2018.
